Students

The department has an outstanding student body intellectually prepared to handle the rigors of study in an academically challenging major. The majority of our students are Kentucky residents. The department embraces diversity and strives to achieve it within our faculty, staff and student body.

Nearly 110 individuals receive their bachelor's degree each year and while most go out into the world to begin their professional experience, many choose to pursue a graduate degree at the University of Kentucky or other highly respected graduate schools. All graduates are well-prepared to meet the challenges of a professional engineering career.
