NSF CAREER Award advancing UK researcher’s work integrating AI in manufacturing

Peng “Edward” Wang, Robley D. Evans Faculty Fellow and an assistant professor with a joint appointment in the Electrical and Computer Engineering and Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering departments, has received the a prestigious NSF CAREER award for his research on AI in manufacturing.

Doug Klein, director of the Innovation Center and a lecturer in the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering and the First-Year Engineering (FYE) program has received one of the University of Kentucky’s 2022-23 Outstanding Teaching Awards.

Biomedical Researchers' Paper Selected as June Feature in Transactions on Biomedical Engineering

The paper titled, "A Wearable Fiber-Free Optical Sensor for Continuous Monitoring of Cerebral Blood Flow in Freely Behaving Mice," was authored by eight UK researchers in the colleges of engineering and medicine.
